Step 6: Relocate the Hive
After removal, the area should be clear of comb. Services that do not remove the comb can lead to other insects eating the honey and pollen, honey dripping down your walls, or worst of all, bees coming back the next season.
Removing the comb is a must if you want the bees to not come back. Unfortunately, this is what drives up prices for a full removal due to the labor and effort involved. But it is the only way to properly complete the job.
The rescued bees are transported to one of our managed apiaries across Texas where they are given time to settle into their new hive and are monitored for health and productivity.
