Texas law provides important protections for consumers who use structural pest control services:

  • Right to Cancel: You have a 72-hour cancellation right on solicited contracts for pest control services.
  • Advance Notice: Pest control treatment signs must be posted at least 48 hours before treatment is performed in or around your property.
  • Safety Information: You have the right to request and receive information about any pesticides used in or around your property, including the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
  • Licensed Technicians: All pest control work must be performed by or under the direct supervision of a certified applicator.
